Transportation

Parking

Parking is $2.00/hour.

If you have a vehicle, park at the Bryan Center Parking Garage (Parking Garage IV Visitor), The entrance is just off Science Drive, adjacent to the Bryan Center and near the Chapel.

If the garage is full, use the Science Drive Garage at the corner of Route 751/Cameron Blvd. and Science Drive. Enter on Thomas Center Dr. off Science Dr, last turn before you reach Cameron Blvd.

Taxis and ride shares

If you’re coming to / leaving useR with a cab or ride share, we recommend being dropped off / picked up in the following locations:

  • During weekdays from 7:00-8:30 PM, rideshares (Uber, Lyft) and taxis are restricted from dropping off or picking up at the Bryan Center Circle, West Campus Bus Stop, Research Drive Circle, and East Campus Bus Stop, according to Duke University. We recommend being dropped off / picked up at the corner of Towerview and Union Drive.

  • On weekends we recommend being dropped off / picked up at the roundabout behind the Bryan Center.

Biking

There are plenty of places where you can lock up your bike nearby Penn Pavilion. Bikes that are locked up are generally safe on campus during the day, but we don’t recommend leaving them at the bike racks overnight.

Food

You can find out about nearby food and coffee options, along with hours of operation here. Many of them are located in the Brodhead Center or the Bryan Center.

There is a microwave in the Brodhead Center near the Duke Café.
